The black version offers a more graphic and urban interpretation of the Sambalia, while preserving its handcrafted nature. The jute braids, worked directly over the lining, provide exceptional flexibility. Combed and braided piece by piece, the material gains a more refined appearance.
Jute is a light, fresh and highly breathable natural fibre, especially pleasant during warmer months. Its open structure promotes ventilation, making this Sambalia a comfortable and natural choice for frequent wear.
The cotton laces, finished with visible stitched detailing, allow the fit to be adjusted comfortably to the instep, offering flexible support that follows the foot’s movement. A style designed for all kinds of settings — urban, coastal or rural — and especially practical for travel: lightweight, compact and easy to combine.
Upper: natural braided jute.
Lining: microfiber.
Insole: removable, coconut fibers with a hemp and cotton cover.
Details: cotton laces with visible artisanal stitching and metal hardware with eco finish.
Anatomical shape with a wide toe box that respects the natural movement of the foot.
Flat, flexible TPR sole made from vegetable-based oils, 4 mm.
Removable coconut-fibre insole, 4 mm.
When removed, the foot rests directly on the same organic material used for the lining and footbed.

Please note that the thickness of the removable coconut fibre insole is not included in the size guide measurements (it reduces internal space by approximately 3 mm if used).

Brush off dirt when dry.
For spot cleaning, use a soft brush or cloth barely dampened with a drop of neutral soap, without soaking the material. Remove soap residue using a clean brush.
Do not wet or submerge the jute.
Remove the insoles for cleaning; the hemp footbed cover can be gently brushed, avoiding soaking the coconut fibres.
Allow to air dry away from direct heat sources.
Occasionally, Collonil Bamboo Lotion can be used for gentle cleaning, and Protect & Care if a light protection against moisture and stains is desired.
