About us
The natural step (towards the future of footwear)
Sambas is an act of love.
After years working in the footwear industry, we felt we could do more, and do it differently. It started as a family mission to find natural, respectful shoes… and we got rather carried away.
We have spent years working out how to do it; not only so they look great, which they do, but above all so they make you feel like you are running barefoot through a meadow in spring. As good for your feet as for the planet they walk on.

Where they are made
Made in Spain
For the know-how, for our principles, for efficiency and for being close by, we manufacture in Spain. Our long shoemaking tradition is held in high regard at home and abroad: it is a mark of quality.

Our limits
What we do not negotiate
-
01
No animal materials
No leather and nothing derived from it. And no vegan alternatives that are plastic in disguise either.
-
02
Real biomaterials
Oleatex®, cork, GOTS cotton, linen and hemp: recyclable or biodegradable.
-
03
Foot-shaped
A wide last, a 4 mm sole and zero drop. The shoe adapts to the foot, not the other way round.

04
Close to home
We design in Granada and manufacture in Spain, for the shoemaking tradition, the closeness and the efficiency.
