SIZING

The prototypes in these pictures were crafted using a pre-production last, which will be updated in the final version. However, the footbed you’ll be stepping on is the same as in all our Sambas styles.

– If you already know your usual size and feel comfortable with its fit, go for it—stick to your usual size.
– If it’s your first time, check out our size guide.
– Between two sizes? Think about how you like your sandals to fit—do you prefer some extra footbed around your feet, or do you like them to fit snugly? That’s your answer!

FOOTBED

The combined thickness of the sole, insole, and lining is 10mm, with a slight variability of (+/- 1mm) depending on the material used and the natural fibers’ ability to subtly adjust to climate conditions and wear over time.

Our sandal strikes the perfect balance between protection, flexibility, and ground feel. This makes it an ideal choice both for experienced barefoot walkers and for those transitioning into minimal footwear, offering a protective barrier without losing connection with the ground. Plus, its three layers of thermoregulating biomaterials protect your feet from the heat of the asphalt.

1️⃣ 5.5mm Natural Rubber Sole

Rubber combines flexibility and comfort, offering just the right amount of firmness. It becomes more pliable with use, adapting to the foot’s natural movement and providing a gentle barefoot experience. Additionally, natural rubber soles are non-slip, ensuring great traction in different conditions. Their durability and impact-absorbing properties make them ideal for daily wear.

2️⃣ 3-4mm Coconut Fiber Midsole

Coconut fibers have excellent thermal insulation properties. They are also antibacterial and highly absorbent (holding up to nine times their weight in water)—a great combination for an insole that adds natural comfort to your steps.

3️⃣ Lining

The material in direct contact with your foot varies by style, but the common thread is natural fibers: cork, raffia, palm, linen, and cotton. These materials provide a soft, pleasant feel underfoot, neutralize sweat, prevent slipping, and help regulate temperature.

This design makes them an excellent choice for everyday wear or for those active days when your feet need a little extra protection.
