Velvet, plant-based leather and a Chelsea that adjusts to you.
Velvet did not have to stay for special occasions. Here it appears in a deep blue, combined with black Oleatex panels, a plant-based leather developed from olive biomass.
The result is a different kind of Chelsea: urban, light and with that unexpected note velvet brings when it steps out of its usual setting.
This year we have shortened its shaft by around 15 cm, for a more versatile silhouette that is easier to combine. Apart from the front lacing, the whole shaft is elastic, wrapping the ankle and adapting naturally to different leg shapes. The lacing also lets you adjust the fit, which is unusual in this kind of construction.

The shoe, in detail
Construction
- An anatomical shape with a wide toe box that respects the natural movement of the foot.
- An elastic shaft with adjustable front lacing for a flexible, adaptable fit.
- A flat, flexible TPR sole made from vegetable oils, 4 mm.
- A removable inner insole in coconut fibres, 3 mm.
- Total height: 8 mm with the insole / 5 mm without the insole.
- Handmade in Spain, with quality vegan materials.

Care
Brush off dirt or dust dry first.
For a deeper clean of the fabric parts, use a dampened soft-bristled brush and, if needed, a small amount of neutral soap. Gently lift off what is left and let them air dry, away from direct sources of heat.
The plant-based leather panels can be cleaned with a soft, lightly dampened cloth.
Remove the insoles before cleaning the inside and avoid soaking the coconut fibres.
Now and then you can apply a protector suitable for fabrics to help protect the material from damp and possible stains. Our choice: Collonil Organic Protect & Care.
To clean, nourish and look after the fabric parts, we also recommend Collonil Bamboo Lotion
Shipping
Spain and Portugal, 24 to 48 hours; one day more to the Balearic Islands. Europe, 4 to 6 working days. Outside Europe, 6 to 10. Shipping is calculated and shown before you finish the order. Pre-order models have their own date, given during checkout.
Exchanges and returns
You have 15 days from the day the order arrives. In Spain and Portugal we cover the return if you send it with Nacex, carriage forward; if you send it another way, we give you back what the shipping on your order cost. From the rest of Europe you pay the return shipping and we refund the full amount, original shipping included. From outside the European Union, write to us before sending anything. Size swaps are on us in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal: we send the new pair and collect the other one. From anywhere else, write to us and we will sort it out.
